Ottawa Active Winter
Our feature trip of 2007/2008 was a fan favourite. Enjoy dog sledding, down hill and cross country skiing, snow shoeing and Ottawa’s museums, galleries and parliament. A perfect mix of education and reward for the school year.

Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Depart for Ottawa
Depart your school for Ottawa. Upon arrival enjoy Skating on the longest rink in the world, the Rideau Canal. After you skate participate in a guided tour of the Supreme Court of Canada, where your students will participate in an interactive mock trial. In the late afternoon check in the hotel. In the evening its time for some fun at an Indoor Amusement Park, where students can Mini Golf, use the Climbing Wall, and play Video Games.

Day 2: Full Day of Ottawa Activities
Let the winter adventure begin…Your Students will participate in a Dog Sledding activity at Ottawa’s premier recreational dog sledding center, no experience necessary. Following the dog sled, your student group will have the chance to go tubing. In the afternoon the group will return to Ottawa to tour Parliament Buildings and for a guided tour of the National Gallery of Canada Lunch. In the evening, your student group will enjoy some Rock and Roll-Bowling.


Day 3: Full Day of Ottawa Activities and Depart for home
On this day, students can choose between two activities Downhill skiing at Mont St Marie, including lessons and free skiing at various times, or Cross Country Skiing and snowshoeing. Both activities are challenging, rewarding and offer something uniquely Canadian for your student group. Following Dinner at your students will dance the night away at their interactive dance party at Hard Rock Café.  

Day 4: Ottawa then return home
Pack your bags and checkout of the hotel. Enjoy a guided tour of the Museum of Civilization and a guided tour of the Canadian War Museum. On our way home , stop along the away fro lunch and possibly a tour of the Hershey Factory (pending closure) or another roadside attraction. Arrive at your school.
