A Taste of Montreal and Ottawa

Our Montreal and Ottawa trips and tours mix the interactive activities of Montreal with the political importance of Ottawa. Students are treated to the best these cities have to offer. Visit the Montreal Space Camp, the Fur Trade Museum and then off to Ottawa to visit Parliament and the Museum of Civilization.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Depart for Montreal

Stop for Lunch at Upper Canada Village (Personal Packed Lunch) and Visit the 19th Century Village. Historic Coach tour of Old Montreal with your informative and fun tour guide. Afterwards, depart for Montreal and check into our hotel. Following dinner, enjoy a night of Bowling, Billiards, laser tag, Mini Golf, at Recreatheque, an indoor amusement park.

Day 2: Full Day of Montreal Activities -> Ottawa

Participate in a hands-on, half day activity at the Montreal Space Camp. Space Camp provides opportunities for teamwork and experimentation in a unique hands-on environment. Next, tour the beautiful Notre Dame Basilica and then embark on a journey at the Montreal Science Centre. Students will participate in 1 full program at the Science and view an IMAX movie presentation. After dinner your group will depart for Ottawa.

Day 3: Full Day of Ottawa Activities

Following Breakfast, visit the Supreme Court, experience a guided tour of the National Art Gallery and a tour of the popular Museum of Civilization. Enjoy lunch at Rideau Centre and then tour the RCMP Stables. In the late afternoon take a guided tour of the newest museum in Ottawa, the Canadian War Museum. Enjoy an evening of Bowling.

Day 4: Full Day of Ottawa Activities

Enjoy a tour of the Diefenbunker, which was built to protect Canadian leaders during a nuclear attack but now serves as Canada's Cold War Museum. No tour in Ottawa is complete without a tour of the Parliament of Canada. If time permits, Studentkind can arrange a meet and greet with a Member of Parliament for you and your students. Enjoy a walking tour of Ottawa- including stops at the Statues on Parliament Hill, The War Memorial and Byward Market. Enjoy Dinner and an evening activity.

Day 5: Activities en route and return home

Wakeup/Packing, Breakfast and then Depart For Home. Lunch en route, Arrive in Kingston for a guided tour of Fort Henry or one of many roadside attractions en route. Board Bus and Depart for Home
