Day 1: Home-> Halifax Nova Scotia (D)
Pickup by our coach bus and transfer to the Hostel at Lawrencetown beach. Eat our first dinner as a group and then head to the beach for a bonfire and hangout session.
Day 2: Surf Session (B)
Wake up and enjoy a full hot breakfast at the Hostel. Our Accommodation is situated right on Lawrencetown beach which is the headquarters for the Nova Scotia surfing scene. After breakfast, put on your gear, walk outside and hit the beach for our first surf session. In morning we will spend some time learning the techniques of surfing on the beach before we head into the water for lessons. In the afternoon, we’ll take a short hike to see some waterfalls. Eat a big dinner as a group. Day 3: Surf Session (B)
Wakeup early and the hit the beach right after breakfast for our second surf session. Your instructor will help you get comfortable on your board, so that you can stand up more often and with more confidence. This afternoon we will enjoy a yoga session and some free time to explore the area.
Day 4: Surf Session (B)
Today we will be doing a surf session at another beach. This beach is the longest white sandy beach in Nova Scotia. It takes almost 2 hours to walk to the end of the beach. In the afternoon we will participate in a photo session. Bring your own camera and learn from a trained photographer how to take perfect ocean shots. Upload and edit your favorite surf and beach shots in the evening. Beach volleyball, soccer and a little Frisbee will played all day long as we soak up this little piece of paradise. Day 5: Wakeboarding Session (B)
Today we are going to switch it up a bit and do a little wakeboarding. After breakfast we will take the van over to a local lake and enjoy a couple wakeboarding sessions. The first person to clear the wake buys snacks for the rest of the group. In the evening we’ll gather on the beach for another bonfire. Day 6: Surf Session and Tour (B)
On this morning we will surf one last time at a hidden spot known only to the locals. In the afternoon we will take a tour of Nova Scotia- first stop, Point Pleasant Park. Point Pleasant Park has many trails that lead through the woods to the beach. Then, depart for a tour to Peggy’s Cove. Peggy’s Cove has been declared a preservation area to protect its rugged beauty. In evening we will eat one last dinner as a group at one of Halifax’s coziest restaurants. Day 7: Halifax-> Home (B)
Eat breakfast as a group and then head to the airport to return home. |
