Day 1: home-> San Jose, Costa Rica
Fly to San Jose Costa Rica.s situated on a flowing river in the Rainforest surrounded by waterfalls and abundant wildlife.
Day 2: Mountain Lodge-> Eco Lodge
In the morning we will rise early and enjoy some hot drinks before heading on a walk to see the rare wildlife which are nearly extinct in the region. We will then transfer to a small village by 4x4 SUV’s and then hike to our Eco Lodge.
Day 3: At Eco Lodge
At the Eco Lodge we will have the chance to participate in a community service project, planting trees in destroyed areas. There will be plenty of time for taking a refreshing dip in the river.
Day 4, 5, 6: Community Service, Community Enhancement
Hike to the nearest town deep in the rainforest. Help build community schools or other building. Make typical foods with our hosts, eat tasty food. prerequisite. Interact in Spanish with community members Learn about Central American History first hand. Trained leaders, meals, equipment, paint, group accommodations, are all provided.
Day 7: Rainforest-> San Jose
Depart for San Jose before we all return home. Highlights include a complete walking tour of the Central Market, Avenida Central etc. We will have time to purchase Costa Rican crafts and gifts for friends and family back home. Learn How to Salsa dance. Time will be set aside to visit a local festival, concert or even a local soccer game. We will go out for a Final dinner and say our Goodbyes.
Day 8: San Jose -> Home
Rise early and eat or last Costa Rican Breakfast. Head to the airport where we will fly home. If time permits, we will take a day tour of San Jose before departure.
