Day 1: Depart for Boston
Depart your school for the Women's Right Historic Park in Seneca Falls New York. Afterwards, depart for Howes Caves. Take a tour of Howe Caverns, a limestone cave, carved by an underground river over the course of six million years, located 156-feet below the earth's surface. Depart for Hyde Park New York where your group will spend the evening.
Day 2: Full Day of Boston Activities
Wake up and participate in a tour of the Vanderbilt Mansion, a property which illustrates the importance for this prominent American family during a time of political, economic, social, and demographic change. Afterwards, visit the Home of FDR and the Presidential Library & Museum to learn about one of the most charismatic and important Presidents of the United States. Depart for your hotel in Boston. Participate in an evening activity in Boston.
Day 3: Lowell and Salem
Visit the Lowell National Historic Site. Students will be taken on a tour of the textile mill and the living quarters of the workers, offering students an in-depth look into the 19th century textile industry. From there, on to the Minuteman National Historic Site, where the opening battle of the American Revolution is brought to life. Depart for Salem Mass. Visit the Salem Witch Museum and enjoy a themed walking tour of Salem Mass with a local guide. Let the guide entertain you and your students with a creative and fun walking tour.
Day 4: Activities en route and return home
On this morning, your student group will have the opportunity to tour the John F Kennedy Presidential library and museum. Following the tour, the group will tour the Museum of Fine Arts. In the afternoon the group will tour the grounds of Harvard University, the Harvard Museum of Anthropology. Your students will then return to the hotel to Freshen up before departing for the Boston Harbour where they will get on board a Boston Dinner and Dance Cruise.
Day 5:
Visit the Science Museum in the morning, then participate in a guided tour of
Freedom Trail including Bunker Hill, the USS Constitution, Old North Church, Fanueil Hall, Boston Common, Paul Revere House. After lunch, students will have the opportunity to visit 50 incredible wildlife exhibits at the New England Boston Aquarium. In the evening, journey to the of the Prudential Tower Skywalk to view a 360 view of Boston and New England. Evening departure for home. |
